We have two kids enrolled at Sonnets and we couldn’t be happier. First, they love our kids! They helped our son get excited for his new baby sister and they often take him to her classroom so he can visit her. Second, the curriculum is outstanding. Our son has learned so much academically and socially. I feel like the teachers are truly partners in helping to nurture and develop our kids. And, best of all, our son looks forward to going to school each day.

PLAY...

IGNITES A CHILD'S NATURAL DESIRE TO LEARN.

LEARNING THROUGH PLAY EVERY DAY

Through play, children discover their surroundings – socially, emotionally, cognitively & physically. This is unique for each child at each stage of development. Sonnets Academy teachers celebrate diversity in their classrooms - understanding each child’s distinctive style of play and the cultural and developmental factors that contribute to these differences among children. Our teachers create classroom activities that each student can build upon in their own way – focusing on strengths.

WHAT DO ANTS LIKE TO EAT?

Our Preschoolers were on a mission to find out. Like all animals, ants need ENERGY that they get from eating. After learning that insects gravitate towards sweet things because the sugars are a quick source of energy for them, our preschoolers picked out a few snacks for our ant friends to try. Will they choose the raisins, the oranges, the honey, or the goldfish?

MEET OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Promoting a strong connection between school, home, and community for our families allows students to build upon what they learn in the classroom. By educating our children about their community and other cultures at an early age, students learn to celebrate diversity and take pride & ownership in their future role in the community.
— Laura Davis, Sonnets Academy Executive Director
