Saying Bye to Summer 2025
Summer is Winding Down…
…and we are preparing for an exciting school year ahead. Let’s reflect on the joy, laughter, and learning we shared this summer at Sonnets.
We stayed cool with water days, bubbles, and plenty of outdoor fun. Little artists explored nature-inspired crafts, from leaf crafts to sidewalk chalk murals and we LOVED gathering outside for books, songs, and movement under the summer sky. Lastly, we can’t forget our curious minds and all the discoveries this summer; insects, flowers, and outdoor science experiments and field trips ALL over our city.

Highlights of the Month
Creative Curriculum
Our classrooms came alive with creativity this summer. Each room explored its own unique themes and ideas - ranging from nature & science discoveries to imaginative art projects & storytelling adventures - giving children the freedom to learn, play, & express themselves.
Enrichments in the Summer
Exploring Hispanic culture in Spanish class through the lively art of dancing! We practiced rhythm, coordination, and listening skills while learning basic steps, all while connecting movement to language and cultural traditions. It was a fun & engaging way to bring Spanish lessons to life!
Ice Cream Social
We celebrated the end of a wonderful summer with smiles, laughter, and lots of ice cream! Our students and their families enjoyed a sweet treat and each other’s company at the Sonnets Ice Cream Social - what a fun way to wrap up the season!

FALL 2025 OPEN ENROLLMENT
Crunching leaves, cozy sweaters, and…new friends! We’re enrolling for Fall 2025 for ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Our classrooms are filled with laughter, learning, and love - perfect for little ones ready to explore, create, and grow. Spots fill up quickly, so don’t wait - come join the fun!

We captured countless smiles, giggles, and “aha!” moments this season. Thank you to all our families for your support. From sending in extra sunscreen to joining in our family events, your partnership made this time truly special. Our “Campers” toured this city on many field trips and we even had a visit from Miss Windy City Teen! We are so proud of the growth and friendships built this summer. As we turn the page to a new school year, we look forward to continuing this journey of discovering together!
