“Saying Bye to Summer 2025”
Summer is Winding Down…
…and we are preparing for an exciting school year ahead. Let’s reflect on the joy, laughter, and learning we shared this summer at Sonnets.
We stayed cool with water days, bubbles, and plenty of outdoor fun. Little artists explored nature-inspired crafts, from leaf crafts to sidewalk chalk murals and we LOVED gathering outside for books, songs, and movement under the summer sky. Lastly, we can’t forget our curious minds and all the discoveries this summer; insects, flowers, and outdoor science experiments and field trips ALL over our city.

“Summer at Sonnets”
Fun in the Sun
This summer, our classrooms are buzzing with hands-on learning, discovery, and play as we explore a variety of themes that support early childhood development. From water play that builds motor skills and sensory awareness, to music and movement that enhance coordination and listening, every activity is thoughtfully designed to blend fun with learning.
Children are engaging in science experiments, art projects, and LOTS of outdoor exploration in this busy city of ours. Summer is the perfect season to nature curiosity, creativity, and confidence - and we’re soaking up every moment of it!
“Save the Birds, Bees, and Trees”
Spring at Sonnets
This spring we focused on the wonders of the Earth through hands-on exploration and interactive experiences.
Activities such as nature walks allowed the children to observe local flowers and trees, fostering a connection to their environment. We learned about the seasons, weather patterns, and the importance of ecosystems through creative play and storytelling. We incorporated art projects, such as creating collages from natural materials, helping us to express our understanding of the planet in a tangible way.
Through these enriching experiences, the children built on their early appreciation for the world around them.
