Fun in the Sun
This summer, our classrooms are buzzing with hands-on learning, discovery, and play as we explore a variety of themes that support early childhood development. From water play that builds motor skills and sensory awareness, to music and movement that enhance coordination and listening, every activity is thoughtfully designed to blend fun with learning.
Children are engaging in science experiments, art projects, and LOTS of outdoor exploration in this busy city of ours. Summer is the perfect season to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence - and we’re soaking up every moment of it!
Highlights of the Month
Splish, Splash, Water Days are Back!
We’re excited to kick off our “Water Play Days” this summer! A fun and enriching activity that helps children to explore, create, and cool off on warm days - sprinkles, splash pad tables, and sensory water bins, all ages are included in the summer fun!
Cause & Effect: Little Thinkers
Infants are natural explorers, discovering their actions can make something happen. Whether its shaking a rattle to hear the sound or dropping a spoon to see it fall, these small moments are big steps in cognitive development.
Enrichments Outdoors
There’s something magical about combining fresh air with music and movement, and out little learners have been loving their outdoor time with our music teacher! Clapping to the beat, dancing in the grass, and listening to new sounds, these moments are more than just fun!

Summer at Sonnets brings new adventures inspiring curiosity and connection. Children explored the local library, where stories and imaginations thrived. Visits to the nearby university offered growth and community engagement. And parent events fostered family support and strengthened bonds.
